The Tata group is engaged in expanding its business. Under this, the preparation for another big deal is almost complete. Tata Group is going to buy bottled water giant Bisleri and the deal is estimated to be completed for Rs 6,000 to 7,000 crores.
This is the preparation of Tata Group
According to a report published on Business Today, Tata Group company Tata Consumer Products Limited (TCPL) will buy India's largest packaged water company Bisleri for an estimated Rs 6,000-7,000 crore. Significantly, Ramesh Chauhan, the owner of Bisleri, has also dealt with his famous soft drink brands Thums Up, Gold Spot and Limca before the deal with this company. He had completed the deal of these companies with Coca-Cola three decades ago.

Current management will continue for 2 years
After selling Thums Up, Gold Spot and Limca to Coca-Cola, Ramesh Chauhan is now selling his bottled water brand Bisleri to Tata Consumer Products Limited. According to media reports, under the deal, the current management of Bisleri will continue for two years. A big reason for doing this big deal has also come to the fore.
Why is Ramesh Chauhan selling Bisleri?
An ET report related to this deal said that industrialist Ramesh Chauhan is now 82 years old and his health is not good in recent times. Apart from this, he says that he does not have any successor to take Bisleri to the next level of expansion. If reports are to be believed, his daughter Jayanti is not much interested in business. These are the big reasons due to which preparations are being made to deal with Tata Group with Bisleri.
Tata had given an offer recently
Ramesh Chauhan also confirmed during an interview to a TV channel that he is in talks with Tata Group to sell stake in Bisleri. However, other companies are also involved in the race to buy it, but they have not been disclosed.
