Meanwhile, the administration condemned the incident and said that the School of International Studies and Complaints Committee has been asked to probe the matter and submit the report to Vice Chancellor Santashree D Pandit at the earliest .
Also, the Jawaharlal Nehru University Teachers Forum said that “the incident is an act of subtle violence and also an attack on the political independence of teachers. The incident also highlights the failure of the existing security arrangements in the university campus which is getting worse by the day. Let us tell you that JNUTF has vocally raised the issue of security concerns on several occasions, but no action has been taken in this regard.
