Another big revelation has come to light in the Shraddha murder case. Shraddha had filed a complaint against Aftab two years ago in November 2020 at Tulinj police station in Mumbai. Shraddha said in her complaint that there is a threat to her life from Aftab.

Shraddha had said in her complaint against Aftab that he used to abuse and beat her. Today he tried to kill me. He threatens me that he will cut my body into pieces. He has been beating me for the last 6 months. But he keeps threatening to kill me, so I could not go to the police. His relatives also know that he used to beat me and tried to kill me.

Shraddha further wrote that now I do not want to be with him. He blackmails me, so if anything happens to me, he will be responsible for it. He fights with me.
The murder took place on 18 May
Mumbai's Shraddha Walker was living with Aftab in a live-in flat in Delhi's Mehrauli. It is alleged that Aftab had strangled Shraddha to death on May 18. According to Aftab, Shraddha was pressurizing him to marry. Aftab then cut Shraddha's body into 35 pieces. He also bought a fridge to keep the pieces. Aftab had kept the pieces of Shraddha's dead body in the fridge. He used to go every night to throw the dead body in Mehrauli forest and Aftab did this for about 20 days.
Ever since Shraddha was in a relationship with Aftab, her father was not in touch with her. But Shraddha used to talk to one of her friends, Laxman. When Shraddha did not respond to Laxman's calls and messages for several days, he told the whole thing to Shraddha's father. After this Shraddha reached the police. When the police interrogated Aftab, the whole matter came to the fore.
