ED had accused in the court
Earlier, the ED probing the money laundering case against Satyendar Jain had filed a complaint in the court. The ED had alleged that special treatment was being given to Satendra Jain in Tihar Jail. ED had also given all the data related to Satyendar Jain to the Ministry of Home Affairs. ED alleges that Satyendar Jain is taking advantage of facilities in Tihar Jail with the connivance of jail officials. All facilities like head massage, foot massage and back massage are being provided.

The jailer of jail number 7 has been suspended
After this, on November 14, 58 jail staff of Jail No. 7 were transferred, including 4 senior officers. In these, all the warders including 2 deputy jailers, 3 assistant jailers, 7 head warders were transferred. Apart from this, Ajit Kumar, Jail Superintendent of Jail No. 7 has already been suspended. Satyendar Jain was arrested in money laundering case
ED arrested Satyendar Jain on May 30 on charges of money laundering. Earlier in April, the ED had attached immovable assets worth Rs 4.81 crore of Jain's family and companies under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. 54 shell companies of three Kolkata hawala operators.
