King cobra eats up another snake alive
King cobras are venomous snakes that live in South and Southeast Asia. The reptile makes its home in forests and swamps. It can grow up to 18 feet long. And the animal's toxic bite is powerful enough to kill an elephant.
This is peak snake behaviour! King cobras are known to feed predominantly on other snakes. It is common knowledge that some snakes can swallow large mammals and go weeks, if not months without getting another meal. However, a snake eating up its own kind can be news to some.
A video of a king cobra swallowing another snake whole has gone viral on Instagram.
